Mid-sized Pharma (keeping development activities in-house)

Situation: QwikPharma, a mid-sized pharma company, has a library of (mostly) standard CRFs, a standard protocol template, and database objects that (mostly) match the CRFs, but the team members from the other functional areas responsible for the rest of the process tend to use their own individual templates.

There is little cross-functional understanding and the therapy areas are quite siloed as well.

Implementation: The company decides to standardize, and brings in the Core DLPs.

With Kestrel’s help, it substitutes its own CRFs and database structures in its DLPs, configures the rest of the content to match the existing materials, and by using the DLP development process gains considerable insight into the requirements of each functional area and therapy area.

It uses this knowledge to fine-tune its processes, making the organization much more efficient.
